These mat classes (Zoom & studio) are designed to develop beginners and progress those familiar with Pilates. The exercises chosen aim to address the common stresses of daily life and relieve their effects on the body, whilst offering challenges in an enjoyable way! Adaptations will be offered throughout so everyone can feel good and reap the bountiful benefits.

Thursday
12:30 - 1:00pm
Zoom HIPil = High Intensity Pilates mat class.
£7 per session (or £10 for HIPil + Simply Stretch)

Take a break and enjoy 30 minutes of challenging Pilates. This class is aimed at those already familiar and confident with Pilates who wish to improve strength and stamina. Benefits also gained from raising the heart rate a little as we move continuously from one exercise to the next for the duration. Focus will be on good form and technique as well as enjoyment! Not suitable for those with an acute health condition.

1:05 - 1:25pm Zoom Simply Stretch Stretch class (not specifically Pilates)
£5 per session (or £10 for HIPil + Simply Stretch)

Stretch out in the middle of the day, wow, what a treat, yes please! Short class specifically for stretching. Can be done alone, as a segue to my 'HIPil' (High Intensity Pilates class immediately before- 12:30-1pm) or combined with any other activity.

Classes may culminate with a restorative period to close where participants are led through a ‘guided relaxation’ to encourage muscles to release any remaining tension and offer the mind the opportunity to quieten and to empty of distracting thoughts. Feel peaceful and content as the whole body feels calm yet rejuvenated at the end of the class. A blissful way to relax, at any time in your day, so that you feel re-set and ready to go again or to wind down at the end your day.
